Blasting Geomechanics Pty Ltd are pleased to announce the Blasting for Rock Shelter Protection Workshop for 2024. The Workshop is timed to take place immediately after the 8th ISEE Drill & Blast Down Under Conference 2024. The workshop is a one day course, presented by Trevor N Little, and Dr Dane P Blair. The following topics are covered:

• Topic 1 Course Introduction and Technical Overview
• Topic 2 Modern Techniques of Blast Design and Analysis
• Topic 3 Three Selected Case Studies
  • BGPL support Baby Hope Cave,
  • Site investigation and stability assessment, and,
  • Heritage protection by stand-off control.
• Topic 4 Course summary + Open Discussion

Enrolment includes Morning Tea, Lunch, and a course manual, with a venue TBA at or near Crown Casino Perth - Great Eastern Highway, Burswood WA 6100.
